CCA calls on federal government to increase support for co-ops

CCA has submitted a pre-budget brief to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance calling for a Co-operative Investment Strategy, an expanded and permanent Co-operative Development Initiative and increased resources for international development partnerships.

CCA releases national public opinion survey on co-operatives

A national public opinion survey commissioned by CCA and conducted by Ipsos Reid shows that the majority of Canadians have a positive perception of co-ops, although only two in five respondents said they were familiar with co-operatives.  Click the Read More link for the survey highlights and to download the full report.

CCA seeking candidates for overseas youth internships

You could be among 12 young people taking up six-month internships this September in Peru, Cambodia, Ghana, Uganda, Malawi and Rwanda as part of CCA's 2010 International Youth Internship Program.  Apply by August 13, 2010. More
