While the primary focus of Canada's 9,000 co-operatives is providing goods and services to some 18 million members across the country, our shared values of concern for community and co-operation among co-operatives compel us to channel our knowledge and experience to communities in need wherever they may be.   

The volunteers who help deliver CCA's international development program have seen the value co-operation holds for families struggling to prosper. The result is lasting, locally-owned and managed enterprises which attend to the social as well as the economic needs of their members.  There are many ways to share your time and skills with fellow co-operators around the globe and CCA can help you get involved.
