Interested in sharing your knowledge about the credit union system in Canada? As part of our Women's Mentorship Program, we're looking for credit union professionals to host a female credit union manager from Africa or Asia and provide guidance on issues common to developing credit unions overseas.

What

As a credit union host you'll provide training and support to a female manager as she learns about the credit union system in Canada. This will be the first trip to Canada for many of the women, so we ask that volunteer credit unions make them feel at home in their community.

Why?

The Women's Mentorship Program offers credit union staff the chance to learn about the challenges and opportunities of working in a credit union in a developing country. You can put your co-operative principles to work while creating some publicity for your credit union in your local market.

The Women's Mentorship Program isn't just about volunteering - it's a mutual learning experience for the women and their mentors.
